Hello everyone,
We've been working on the user side improvements for a while and would like to share a short clip to get some feedback.
The chat widget is becoming more versatile and allows multiple surfaces for you to care for your audience. Initially there will be two tabs, Home and Messages. Home is where you welcome your users, here you will be able to provide selection of options, like external links, announcement cards, call to actions and so on. We are making this configureable to you can add as many items a you wish and over time we can introduce different "cards" that offers other things.
Messages tab will list the users' chat history. Here previous conversations can be viewed and new messages can be still sent, if user wanted to. On the Help Desk side, you will see multiple conversations from same user as long as they have access to their chat history/anonymous user.
Regarding additional lead fields; We want to have something like a "profile" page, where you can define some basic fields as well as custom fields. Since this form can get very large, displaying that within the conversation doesn't feel like the best user experience.
One option could be to have a call to action button from Home screen to the profile page, where user can fill-in their information in a dedicated area.
We're also implementing an option to "enforce" this form in order to start a conversation.
Considering this, would you still prefer an inline form as part of the conversation, or the proposal above is good enough and provides a better user experience?
We're also introducing an option to download the conversation.
While doing all this, we're looking to optimize the current positioning of the button to escalate conversation to human support. Let us know if you have any ideas.

It would be great if you added a menu with an option to save/email the chat thread, reset the chat and submit a contact form, as illustrated in the attached screenshots.

Igor Zuev: Yes! This is exactly what are going to work on soon! The chatbot interface for the user side will be getting bunch of new features, including persistent chat history for the user, contact form with configureable fields, help center for exposing your content and more. Great feedback! 🙌

In addition to the menu, please consider the option of triggering or opening various forms using "Text Labels (buttons)" as discussed in this thread: https://tiny-talk.canny.io/feature-requests/p/include-url-links-and-buttons-in-chat-responses
Alternatively, consider creating an intro screen with a list of selectable options, which would open within the selection:
- Social Media links
- Contact / Sign-Up Forms
- AI / Live Chat

Tiny Talk - amazing! when are we all looking to see this implemented, or at the very least custom form fields for lead capture? We've already started to use TinyTalk chatbots across our clients as a marketing agency but they are all unable to view their conversations, making this platform redundant for us at the moment until we can pass the leads on.
P.S. It would be good to add a custom recipient list that can receive the email conversation, e.g. a restaurant that may take bookings will be sent to the booking staff emails rather than an owner or us as the agency.
